Key Stage 3 is taught to years 7 to 9 in the College. KS3 continues on from KS2 and uses the same National Curriculum Level Descriptors to grade students, ranging from level 1, to level 8. Generally the College teaches levels 3 to 8 in years 7,8 and 9, with knowledge and skills being repeated and built upon every year.

The Curriculum is split into 4 main areas or 'attainment targets' these are: Using and applying Mathematics, Number and Algebra, Shape, Space and Measure and Handling Data. These attainment targets are delivered to students in managable units.

Each Year group is split into 4 levels, according to ability. Feel free to access the curriculum by year group below. Please remember that these are guidelines that extend beyond some of the classes taught and range from the basic to the advanced end of the national standards.
